Going Infinite by Michael Lewis follows crypto-king Sam Bankman-Fried and the rise and fall of FTX. Watch an interview with the author.
Going Infinite: The Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon by Michael Lewis is at the top of my reading list. Sam Bankman-Fried and the rise and fall of FTX, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, are the focus of his new nonfiction book. Lewis describes his experience with Bankman-Fried and what it was like to have a front-row seat to the crypto-king’s demise in an interview with 60 Minutes.
Michael Lewis is no stranger to stories about finance and numbers. But it’s not the statistics or the wealth that captures his attention; it’s the unique individuals involved. The author has previously written books adapted into popular films, including Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill, and The Big Short, starring Christian Bale, Steve Carell, and Ryan Gosling. Going Infinite is sure to be another page-turner, and I have no doubt it, too, will be turned into a movie or series.
