Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Backstreet Boys Lineup Opening [Favorite Scenes]

One of the best cold opens from the show Brooklyn Nine-Nine involves Andy Samberg, criminals, and a Backstreet Boys song.

I am a big fan of the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. While I enjoy everything about the series, if I had to pick a favorite part, it would have to be the random and hilarious cold opens. One of my favorite cold opens involves a police lineup, Andy Samberg, and a particular Backstreet Boys song that I couldn’t get enough of back in the day.

The scene opens with a lineup but there’s a problem, the witness never saw the criminal’s face. She only heard him singing along to the song, “I Want It That Way.” As Jake asks each member of the lineup to sing a line from the song, he can’t help but sing along! Watch:
