So, They’re Making “Daisy Jones & The Six” Into a Series…

Daisy Jones & The Six follows an iconic rock band through their rise and fall. On Amazon Prime in March – watch the teaser!

Daisy Jones & The Six is coming to a small screen near you (if you have Amazon Prime, that is) this March. The documentary-style series recaps the rise and fall of a (fictional) 1970s rock band and is based on the best-selling novel by author Taylor Jenkins Reid. The series stars Riley Keogh, Sam Claflin, Suki Waterhouse, and Timothy Olyphant (recurring), among others. It could be a really cool adaptation… I guess we’ll see soon enough.

Here’s the thing, I liked the book, but like most of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s work, the story seemed better suited for a screenplay. Apparently, Reese Witherspoon and her Hello Sunshine team agree, so here we are. And let’s be honest, I like most of what they’ve produced so far, so I’ll definitely watch when Daisy Jones & The Six drops on Amazon Prime in March. Will you join me? Watch the announcement teaser below:

(If you’re interested in reading the best-selling book first, I highly recommend the audiobook narrated by Jennifer Beals, Pablo Schreiber, Benjamin Bratt, and Judy Greer. Check it out on Audile.com.)
