I’ll admit it; I’ve never been scuba diving. Maybe I’m too much of a coward to venture into deeper water. I hate that it’s true. But the older I get, the more I have to face facts and accept who I am. Here’s the thing… just because relying on an air tank to keep me breathing sounds terrifying, that doesn’t mean I should miss out on all the incredible wonders the Caribbean Sea has to offer. Now, I can witness the extraordinary Lighthouse Reef in Belize from my couch, thanks to this beautifully shot adventure video!

Lighthouse Reef atoll is a popular diving destination in the Caribbean and is teeming with vibrant sea life. It is also the home of The Great Blue Hole, which is a marine sinkhole and considered one of the most incredible underwater locations in the world. Who’s ready for a virtual vacation? Watch:

Scuba diving around Lighthouse reef atoll off the coast of Belize back in May 2021. The reefs here were very healthy with an abundance of reef sharks, grouper, rays, turtles, and many species of colorful fish. We stayed at Itza resort on Long Caye and dove many sites around the atoll including the aquarium and the famous blue hole.
