You cannot be considered one of the greatest home-cooks until you’ve tackled homemade pasta from scratch. But in all honesty, the whole process seems a little daunting and maybe a bit over my head. Don’t Italian cuisine chefs spend years learning how to make a perfect bowl of pasta? Making pasta at home doesn’t seem like it should be so easy, and yet, it is!
I don’t think I need to say this, but here goes: If you watch the video in full, you’ll hear the word ‘gluten’ over and over again, there is a reason for this. Pasta is not typically gluten free and although there are many, many awesome gluten-free options out there, this recipe is not one of them. You can try and substitute some of the ingredients mentioned below if you’d like but you’ll probably be better off finding a well-thought-out gluten-free recipe instead.
