It’s time to make one of my favorite food groups: the breakfast sandwich! And this time, we’re cooking outdoors! Get the recipe.
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, but I rarely have time to eat a complete meal, so the breakfast sandwich is a gift from the food gods. You can hold it in your hand, it’s fuel for your day, and, let’s be honest, it’s tasty!
A good breakfast sandwich can satisfy a range of requirements! If you’re looking for variety, you can put almost anything into a breakfast sandwich these days. Choose from basics like bacon, eggs, and cheese on a biscuit, or go for something more sophisticated like gruyere with Dungeness crab on a brioche bun. Alternatively, omit the meat and combine grilled vegetables with a fried egg and cheese! Whatever you put in it, most breakfast sandwiches are high in protein and energy sources that your body requires to get your day started right.

The best part, of course, is that you can eat a delicious breakfast sandwich on the go! You can eat one of these while walking or driving around town (depending on how messy it is!). Try attempting that with a sausage and egg platter! But the best part is that it doesn’t matter how you eat it; all that counts is that it tastes delicious and leaves you satisfied.
