James Corden, Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda join forces and perform sections of 22 musicals in 12 minutes!

You think putting on a musical is hard? Just try covering 22 musicals in 12 minutes… on-stage, in one shot? (No, that was not a Hamilton reference, although Miranda does get in quick line of “My Shot” in there!) Recently, James Corden invited Lin-Manuel Miranda and Emily Blunt, stars of the upcoming musical Mary Poppins Returns, to join him for an epic walk down musical-lane.

James Corden, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Emily Blunt Perform 22 Musicals in One Take on ‘The Late Late Show’

The trio cover Broadway sensations like Guys and Dolls as well as movie musicals like La La Land. Some of my favorite moments included a cameo from Kermit the Frog, Emily Blunt covering Beyoncé, and Lin-Manuel Miranda interrupting Blunt and James Corden’s Into the Woods duet. There are so many great moments, especially for musical-lovers!
