As an original NSYNC fan (actually, it’s *NSYNC, but I just can’t with the asterisk), I was disappointed when they split up. Still, I understood that some of them (ahem, Justin Timberlake) wanted to focus on their individual careers. It’s the nature of many bands, particularly boy bands. And I was THERE for JT’s first solo album, so I moved on after the breakup. But I’ve always wondered why JT was so opposed to any kind of reunion with the rest of the guys (Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone). I get that boy bands were not as popular anymore… but then came One Direction’s popularity and the revival of New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys… leaving me wondering, what the heck was JT’s problem?!

I’m not sure how we got here, but Justin Timberlake is starting to embrace his past and has reunited with the other members of NSYNC. It all began with the new Trolls movie, followed by an appearance on this year’s MTV VMAS (Video Music Awards), and now, an appearance on Hot Ones! I’m still suspicious of your reasoning, JT, but this interview was so good, and Chris, JC, Lance, and Joey are so fun that I’m choosing to believe this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship (again!).
