It’s about time someone told Priscilla’s story! Watch the trailer for Priscilla, starring Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi as Elvis.

I know it was a different era, but I can’t imagine what my life would have been like if I had married my high school sweetheart. I didn’t even know who I was until college, and to be honest, I’m still trying to figure it out. I’m not arguing that successful stories of young love don’t exist, but they’re not as common as you might think, which brings me back to Priscilla Presley. Life was not perfect with Elvis; in fact, it was pretty awful most of the time. Many people admire Elvis, and musically, I understand why, but in my opinion, Priscilla is the true hero of that narrative. So it’s about time someone made a film about her as the primary character.

Sophia Coppola is the mastermind behind Priscilla, a new drama starring Cailee Spaeny (Pacific Rim: Uprising) as the young ingénue and Jacob Elordi (Euphoria) as Elvis. I’m a fan of Copolla and can’t wait to see how this all turns out. Catch the newest trailer below:
