Remember that time Ben Folds made Sara Bareilles sing with The National Symphony Orchestra?!

Sara Bareilles is by far one of the greatest songwriters of today; aside from her own albums, Bareilles is one of the main talents behind the hit Broadway musical, Waitress. She is a musical force, so it was only a matter of time before she wound up on stage at The Kennedy Center with Ben Folds and The National Symphony Orchestra, right?

As part of Ben Folds’ live concert series, Declassified: Ben Folds Presents, Folds asked Bareilles to spend a night sharing her music along with The National Symphony Orchestra. One of her most mesmerizing performances that night was Once Upon Another Time.

Once Upon Another Time is the title track of Bareilles’ 2012 EP which featured a total of 6 songs. Although the EP didn’t produce one of Bareilles’ most notable radio hits, it is a solid album from start to finish.

In the performance below, both Ben Folds and Caroline Shaw join Bareilles to create some intense and beautiful harmonies. Watch as Bareilles and The National Symphony Orchestra perform Once Upon Another Time at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.:
