This trailer for The Beanie Bubble, starring Zach Galifianakis, Elizabeth Banks, and Sarah Snook, has me buzzing with excitement. As far as Beanie Babies documentaries go, I’ve seen them all. Whether or not you’ve ever owned a Beanie Baby, the rise and fall of the understuffed toy industry is fascinating. But… admit it, you probably owned at least one at some point. Didn’t we all? Now, for most of us, those stuffies are long gone. But… others are still holding on to them in a futile hope that their value will rise again; to you, I offer a sympathetic smile and a hearty “Good luck!” Now, back to the AppleTV+ movie!

Why did the world suddenly treat stuffed animals like gold?
