My review:
I honestly had no idea how The Soulmate would end while I was reading it. The author made the right choice by using two different narrators and jumping back and forth between the past and the present. This enabled the plot to continue moving forward rapidly and allowed the reader to remain engaged throughout.
Despite multiple recommendations, I’ve never read anything by Sally Hepworth before, and I can’t wait to read more. The Soulmate did not “wow” me, but it was a quick and easy read that was surprising and entertaining. I would recommend it as the perfect vacation book to escape into. Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.
