Two things I love: talking about writing and any series that Rob McElhenney puts out into the world. From It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia to Welcome to Wrexham, I consider his series worth watching over and over again. It would be embarrassing to tell you how many times I’ve seen episodes of Sunny. But, despite my love of sports (and Ryan Reynolds), of all the creative ventures McElhenney has developed, Mythic Quest is my favorite. That show helped get me through the pandemic lockdown, including the special “Quarantine” episode! So, it should be no surprise that I found their 2021 Writer’s Guild Foundation panel super interesting.
As a warning, if you’re a lover of Mythic Quest from Apple TV+ and you’re here for epic laughs… this isn’t that kind of video. Not to say that Rob McElhenney, Megan Ganz, David Hornsby, Ashly Burch, and Katie McElhenney aren’t entertaining; they definitely are.
