  • Marble Run Machine in Gouda, South Holland

It’s a marble tsunami! Watch as 11,000 marbles rush through the Nethlerland’s Marble Run Machine.

The next time you’re visiting Gouda, South Holland check out the Marble Run Machine at Monkey Town (I’m desperate to make a Gouda cheese joke, but I digress…). The “Marble Machine” runs 11,000 marbles at one time through a series of obstacles and pathways, similar to an intricate rube goldberg machine. It doesn’t matter how old you are, it’s a thrilling experience for all ages; and the older you are, the more you’ll appreciate the craftsmanship and engineering behind the machine.

The marble run was built in 2015 and uses over 13,000 marbles total; 11,000 of those marbles create an insane marble tsunami, the likes of which you’ve never seen before.

Don’t have time to catch a quick flight to the Netherlands? Watch the marble madness for yourself right now!
