Eggslut’s Fried Egg Sandwich At Home [Recipe]

Fried Egg Sandwiches are my weakness! In fact, when I’m in Los Angeles, I visit the infamous Eggslut eatery as often as possible. Sooo what am I supposed to do when I’m not in California and back on the East Coast?! How will I satisfy my Eggslut cravings, then?! By using Claire Thomas’s Fried Egg Sandwich recipe, that’s how!

Thomas, who is also a massive fan of Eggslut, doesn’t always have time for their well-known, long lines. So instead, she opts to make her own version of her favorite breakfast sandwich at home. Her Crave-Worthy Egg Sandwich takes about 20 minutes to prepare, and the recipe yields 1 serving… so double up if you’re cooking for two (or if you’re just really, friggin hungry!).

Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need in the house before you get started:

  • ketchup
  • chipotle in adobo sauce
  • sourdough bread
  • cheddar cheese
  • unsalted butter
  • bacon
  • eggs

If you’re ever in Los Angeles and Glendale, California, or Las Vegas, Nevada, hit up one of Eggslut’s actual locations! (They’re expanding fast, I’m just hoping they expand my way soon!)
