Back in 2017, SNL showed me the darkest part of my soul with a short that dared to expose a truth most people are too afraid to speak: the horror that is the Papyrus font. Honestly, it felt like the always-hilarious Ryan Gosling was personally calling out my deep-seated rage against this font and the questionable life choices of anyone who dares to use it. Sure, it had a moment of popularity, but my Papyrus hate started long before SNL ever questioned it. (And way before James Cameron’s Avatar.)
