Jim Henson’s creations meant the world to me, and to be honest with you, they still do. Sesame Street and The Muppet Show shaped my toddler years; Fraggle Rock came a few years later, and when I was old enough to watch, The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth Blew. My. Mind! And I will watch all of it still to this day.
The innovator’s death rocked my world; in fact, like other dark historical days, I can remember exactly where I was when I first heard the news. He was gone too soon, and there was so much more left for him to do. But his work and the imaginations he inspired live on to this day. Now, Ron Howard is examining his prolific life and work in the documentary Jim Henson Idea Man.
