After watching the trailer, I can’t wait to see Daisy Edgar-Jones in Where the Crawdads Sing, out July 15, 2022.
I loved the book Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. I wasn’t sure I would because there was so much hype by the time I got around to it, but I couldn’t put the book down from the moment I picked it up. Owens moved masterfully between the mystery at the book’s heart and the flashbacks to Kya’s life growing up.
I can’t wait for the movie adaptation. I tend to be nervous about movie adaptations, but I’m a big fan of Daisy Edgar-Jones after the series Normal People, and I think she seems like the perfect actress to take on the complex role. Watch the Where the Crawdads Sing trailer below:
