Pendulum ROCKS Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” in a cover performance for triple j’s Like of Version – watch the performance now!
I love a good cover song, which is why I really like “Like A Version” from the iconic Australian radio station triple j. The station encourages established musicians and bands to play covers of other artist’s songs, and they are encouraged to make the song fit their style. Now, unless you’ve been living in a parallel dimension, you’ve heard of Taylor Swift. And chances are you’ve listened to her song “Anti-Hero” (you know, “It’s me, hey, I’m the problem, it’s me”). Australian rock band Pendulum recently covered Swift’s massive hit, and I absolutely love it!
I’ll be honest: I was infatuated with “Anti-Hero” when it first came out. But, after the Eras tour, the non-stop streaming and radio play, and all of the memes, I was definitely over the song. But hearing Pendulum’s rendition has made me love it all over again. Let’s face it: Taylor or no Taylor, it’s a really good song!
