Now, she is back with a mesmerizing update on one of Punisher’s signature tracks, “Kyoto.” Bridgers has collaborated with several talented producers and performers to create previous versions of the hit song, but this version tops them all, in my opinion.
Phoebe Bridgers teamed up with some of the music industry’s biggest stars in this new orchestral rendition, including songwriter Jackson Browne, composer Philip Glass, and the Scorchio Quartet. This all-star ensemble breathed new life into “Kyoto,” converting it into an orchestral gem. This version highlights Bridgers’ ability to collaborate across all musical genres.
