I’ll be honest: I’m officially feeling my age. I have so many great memories of the original Beetlejuice from the 1980s, even though I was too young to catch it in theaters. Instead, I wore out a copy (VHS!) at home, replaying it over and over. It took me years to get all the jokes, but even now, I’d die with laughter if I watched it today. Now, the sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is finally here!
And now, only a mere twenty years later, Tim Burton is back with a sequel, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Not only is Burton returning, but Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, and Danny DeVito are back in the mix. Plus, we’ve got franchise newcomers like Willem Dafoe, Justin Theroux, Jenna Ortega, and Monica Bellucci joining the crew. With a lineup like this, September can’t come soon enough!
