Jennifer Garner and author Laura Dave sit down to discuss their latest collaboration: The Last Thing He Told Me, on AppleTV+. Watch!
I really enjoyed reading The Last Thing He Told Me by author Laura Dave. It was a different spin on a missing-person story, and the entire time I read it, I thought this would make an even better movie. (I never actually considered a limited series.) And now that I’ve seen the AppleTV+ adaptation, I can say with certainty that I WAS RIGHT! It is better as a movie series. The episodes were captivating, and each one ended with the perfect cliffhanger; there were moments when I knew exactly what was coming, and I still couldn’t wait to see how each plot point unfolded.
The series, The Last Thing He Told Me, stars Jennifer Garner (Alias, Party Down), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), Angourie Rice (Mare of Easttown), and Aisha Tyler (Criminal Minds, Archer), among others. It was adapted by Laura Dave and Josh Singer. All episodes are now available to stream on AppleTV+.
