I almost squealed when I saw that Variety had released a new Actors on Actors interview with two of my favorite current actors: Zendaya and Andrew Garfield. And the pairing makes perfect sense: they’re both at the top of their game right now, they are both insightful when discussing their craft, and they are both a big part of Spider-Man movie history. (In fact, they both appeared in the most recent Tom Holland-Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home.) Watch as they discuss some of their current projects and characters.
It’s hard to decide who I love more, Zendaya or Garfield. The latter is everywhere right now between Under the Banner of Heaven, No Way Home, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, and of course, his brilliant performance in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tick, Tick… Boom! adaptation. But there is something so special about Zendaya. After watching her in the second season of Euphoria, I’m officially a super fan. Unlike most, I missed her as a Disney kid. In fact, I didn’t know about her until I heard her sing with Zac Efron in The Greatest Showman. But once I found her, she fascinated me more than any other young actor her age. I can’t wait to see what they do next.
