Kaitlin Palmieri’s life has been anything but easy. She faced a devastating loss and then found hope again with her new fiancé, Eric. He was the kind of guy everyone loved, funny and charming, and she was excited to start a new chapter with him. But fate had other plans. The night before their wedding in 2020, Eric tragically passed away due to heart complications. For months, Kaitlin was consumed by grief, barely able to get out of bed or even stand for long periods.

In 2020, on what was supposed to be their wedding day, Kaitlin was woken up with news that Eric died of a heart attack. After grieving him for years, she learned on social media that he was having an affair throughout their entire relationship. “It’s just cruel,” Kaitlin says.
