If you’re nostalgic for both Stevie Wonder and Guns N’ Roses, you are going to love “Living in a Paradise City!”
Yesterday was Stevie Wonder’s birthday, and if you’re like me, you celebrated by listening to his iconic songs over the years. And maybe after that, you turned to iconic covers of his songs. Maybe, if you were still desperate for Stevie goodness today, you started searching out YouTube and concert music videos and then stumbled on a little mashup gem called “Living in a Paradise City.” No? You didn’t do any of those things?! FOR SHAME!
I understand if you don’t have time to dedicate yourself to all of Stevie’s work, even though, you know, you should; you definitely don’t want to miss out on the video below. In “Living in a Paradise City,” Stevie Wonder’s “Living for the City” is paired with “Paradise City” from Guns N’ Roses, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s as if they were written for one another.
